Less drama, more fun

Hash tag OOTD.

WEARING:
Jack Daniel's top, G
Teal pants, Forever 21
Boots, Kicks
Gold chain necklace, DIY
Spike bracelet, DV

Meet up with le cousins earlier today and I've decided to go for this outfit.
The color of my pants screams SUMMER baby so I've toughen it up by pairing it with my grungy combat boots.
Loving this ensemble.

As much as possible I avoid drama, I hate drama. It does nothing but add grudge to the problem.
But what's the main problem again? I don't even know it, really.
I can't even understand why you have to make an issue out of such petty things.
We are too old for this kind of shit. We are not kids anymore and it wouldn't help us if we would still fight over
such petty jealousies and simple rejection.
Stop over thinking. Stop making conclusions. Stop dragging us on your personal issues.
Try to pull back and think things over.

Summer Dibs

These stuff hang in my closet from quite some time now.
Grungy, eh?
Been obsessing over muscle tees lately, so I roam in a lot of bazaars and thrift shops looking for muscle tees.
Well, luckily I have numbers of this stuff already in different genres, I mean personalities which I got from F21, local bazaars and thrift shops. Talk about comfort this muscle tee is a favorite.
I like pairing it with tights and smokin' slippers but this time, since it's super hot in here, I would be very glad to pair it with daisy dukes and docs. Yeah!

Hey Guys!

Hey guys!

I don't have a D.I.Y. Monday post today.
Went to school earlier to get my toga and it was a riot. A disaster. People are everywhere. It was a live jungle. No organization at all. It was a decent school (supposed to be, we are talking about money here) yet they cannot even afford to provide better service. I know for a fact that they don't handle the toga rental and grad pictorial but they should have set some standards. They should have get a much better group of people who can handle numbers of students and could give proper directions so that students wouldn't be confused.
Graduation is quite stressful. They even changed the schedule for our college. I repeat, I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON. Why'd you have to make it hard for me to graduate? Boohuu!

OK. Enough about this shit. Let's move forward.

So, some people really think that they are high enough after they graduate. Wake up call bitch! You have just graduated! Don't expect to get a high paying job yo! That's the downfall with these kind of people who have worked in abroad already. PH is so much different to CA, man! You must be grateful because right after you graduate, you are already employed. So stop yakking about how low your salary is and how it is not what you deserve. Not happy about it? LEAVE.

...

I find, digital single-lens reflex too mainstream already. They made it too cheap for everybody to afford. I mean, it is fun to own one. But #photography and #art will lose its sense. I am not speaking as if I was an artist or even a professional when it comes to this field, but I just find it too overrated already.

Anyhoo.

I have been missing my blogging rush lately. I have ran out of mojo as to Austin Powers' speak.
I have lost my creativity drive. I need inspiration. Even my bread and butter, my pride, my Sunday Dream Shop has been sleeping for quite sometime now. Is this part of growing up? 'Coz if it is, I must say, IT SUCKS! Oh glob! This is so not me. Not me~

I need the beach. Take me away from this four cornered place. Take me.

XX. Lost.

D.I.Y. MONDAY: Studded Pullover Version 2.0

YES, YES?

Here's the second installment of my D.I.Y. studded pullover.
This tutorial is easy peasy just like the first one that I have posted.
So, let's do it y'all!! :>

HOW TO:

1. Gather all your materials. You'll need the following:
-a pullover or sweater
-bead spikes (you can use those in spike bracelets, they are exactly the same)
-thread (must be the same color of your pullover/ sweater)
-needle (normal size, just make sure it can pass thru the hole of the bead spikes)
-scissors
-marker

2. Create your pattern/ design.

3. If you have a pattern in mind already, get your marker/pen and make a guide of the pattern that you'd like to form.

4. Prepare your thread and needle. And from the opposite side of the pullover start sewing the bead spike.
Tighten every loop so the bead spikes wouldn't be that loose.

5. Repeat until you have completed your design.

6. I find mine too boring, so I incorporated some studs in it. :>

Voila!
You have created a Forever21-ish spiked pullover. :>

Thank you for reading and for dropping by!
DISCLAIMER: I KNOW MY D.I.Ys ARE KIND OF SHITTY. YEAH YEAH WHATEVER.

Toodaloo!

D.I.Y. Monday: Studded Pullover Version 1.0

I know this ain't the best time of the year to wear pullovers and/or sweaters but I can't help it, pullovers is really my thing lately. You can pair it with shorts, skirt, tights, jeans, everything.
So I have been checking out some stuff in Forever 21 Makati yesterday and I have found numbers of cutesy sweaters with studs on it, but but but it costs too much. Boo hoo! :(
So instead of thinking how am I gonna save up for the ones I have found in F21, I thought of the awesomest idea to just make one since I have a few, plain Jane pullovers in my closet. And I'm gonna share it to y'all.

Let's do this!

1. LE STUFF THAT YOU NEED FOR THIS PROJECT:
a. Pullover or sweater
b. Pliers (optional)
c. Studs (I got mine in Divisoria. There are lots of studs in etsy.com too or in eBay.)

2. CREATE YOUR PATTERN.
You can place your studs wherever you want, and you can choose whatever shape of studs you would like to use.
As for this project, I would like it to be on the shoulder part of my pullover and I did an inverted triangle.
(HIPSTER PLEASE.)

3. POKE THE PRONGS OF THE STUD RIGHT THROUGH THE PULLOVER.
that sharp thingy, BTW, is called "prongs"
4. PRESS DOWN FLAT THE PRONGS TO HOLD THE STUD IN PLACE.
Pliers is optional. You can use your fingers if you're that sadistic, just take care, okay? :)

5. REPEAT UNTIL YOU FINISH YOUR PATTERN.

And now we're done!

Hope you have learned something from my first ever DIY post.
I might do this more often, well, every Monday. I just hope I could keep up with it.
So, thanks y'all for reading!

Toodaloo!
